Description

Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS), located in Elgin, Illinois, is a non-profit community service offering financial advice, debt management, and educational programs. We have been educating people on how to live within their income and rehabilitating people burdened by debt since 1931.

We are a service program of Family Service Association of Greater Elgin Area and are affiliated with the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC).

Our services include:

- Avoid filing bankruptcy
- Minimize legal proceedings & collection problems
- Salvage delinquent accounts & rehabilitate customers
- Prepare for home ownership
- Review credit report
- Promote financial literacy
- Financial seminars & workshops

We restore self-reliance and family well-being to people with money management and/or debt problems. Our programs and services are designed to provide you with the tools and advice needed to get back on a positive financial track.

We are not a charity organization, a lending institution, or a collection agency. Our counselors can help you through the whole process of understanding how to manage your finances and maintain a debt-free future.

We have payment plans as an option for our clients.
